Based on the best-selling novel by James Patterson.
When two newlyweds from a prominent family are murdered, top homicide inspector Lindsay Boxer (Pollan) is assigned to the high-profile case. But rather than team Boxer with her partner (Pileggi), the chief pairs her with Police Captain Chris Raleigh (Bellows), with whom she has had a romantic encounter. When the system makes it difficult for them to solve the case, and more newlyweds end up dead, Boxer turns to her friends for help. Each involved in the case from a different professional angle, from medical examiner to assistant D.A., they form the Women's Murder Club and go around the system to try to solve the biggest case of their careers.
