Plot: Peaceful, rustic Berkeley is a charming fishing community where life is sweet and the people friendly. All that is about to change. After losing her childhood farm to the bank, local beauty Rene decides to leave town and head for the big city. Suddenly, an avalanche of meteorites races through the sky, bombarding the town and bringing an otherworldly infection. Departing is going to be much more difficult than she had planned. The living dead are awakened and Rene is now caught in a nightmare of zombies hungry for human flesh. She manages to find salvation in a small isolated farm house owned by the town loony, Marion. There she is met with four other desperate survivors. Together they battle their way through a plague of walking dead and discover that there is more transpiring than just an infection. UNDEAD features an overflow of gore and visual effects to make any horror fan squirm with delight. The visuals of this movie are absolutely amazing; you won't believe it was made with such a small amount of money. --David "DarK_ArT" B. Falardeau (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
Undead is a kick ass little gem that I’ll be happy to add to my collection as soon as humanly possible. It balances its humor and horror in a way that few other films can; and it’s the most fun I’ve had watching a movie in quite some time. Here’s hoping for a sequel, because it sure as hell begs for one.--Mike Skinner (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
A good zombie flick that should please zombie fans, like it did for me. Has an interesting and unique story and a good amount of gore and humor, but the characters and humor do get annoying at times. Worth a watch. 7/10-- (UHM)
Overall, Undead is a wild ride through the trenches of classic zombie flicks with a unique flavor added to the mix. When this baby hits video shelves, or maybe even theaters in 2004, make sure you don't miss it! --Mr Disgusting (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
Ultimately Undead is a fun, inventive and enjoyable film that is world-class in nearly every aspect. While its humour is ultimately stronger than its horror, you should still get along and support some local talents that look to have big futures not onlyhere, but on the world stage. 7.5/10--Steven Marshall (Movie Marshal)
Enjoyably silly horror comedy that delivers on the gore and the laughs, though it’s not on the level of Peter Jackson’s Bad Taste or Braindead. --Matthew Turner (ViewLondon)
