The best damn B-movie slasher flick of the 90's. ... Director Lustig and writer Cohen reunite for the first time after their Maniac Cop movies and come up with this highly entertaining and fun slasher flick that's loaded with cool deaths, a kick ass villian and stylish direction. ... Not the most logical and realistic of scripts but it doesn't matter because it all comes together as an enjoyably mindless, nifty and muscular flick. See it. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
Writer Larry Cohen seems to want to use his not inconsiderable talent for creating satirical horror to turn Uncle Sam into an examination of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, but he can't pull it off, and the movie goes to a hell of stupidity. 35/100--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)

The only thing going for this movie is the box cover, it's sweet, but other than that this is a preachy, disconnected movie that looks like it was made by Michael Moore...--jareprime (HorrorWatch.com)
