Plot: As Stanley Putterman sets up a new satellite dish above his comfortable suburban home, an alien on a distant planet feeds garbage into his living trash compactor. However, when a flash of lightning strikes both the dish and the compactor, the trash monster ends up in the Puttermans' television set! Now, the Putterman family and friends must use viewer discretion, or else their monstrous guest will violently attack the unlucky couch potatoes.

 While this is a mostly feeble effort this is a total guilty pleasure due to lots of dopey jokes, amusingly junky effects and a cast that never takes this seriously. ...doesn't mean this still isn't a lame movie.  -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
