Plot: On his way to a medical convention, Dr. Fausto is interrupted by a man who claims that the good doctor removed his stomach eight years ago during an operation, and yet still lives. He claims that he will grant whatever wishes Dr. Fausto wants. When Dr. Fausto gives in to temptation and begins to meet his wishes, reality comes loose around him and his world starts to dissolve.Spanish theatre troupe La Fura del Babus takes their controversial act to the big screen with this variation on the popular Faust legend. The film tells the story of Dr. Faust (Miguel Angel Sola), who is attending a medical conference in the city. Once there, he encounters Santos Vella (Eduard Fernandez), a brash, mysterious figure who claims to be an ex-patient. Unable to separate himself from Santos, Faust embarks on a surreal, gory, horrific journey through his psyche. Not for the faint of heart, FAUSTO 5.0 is a strikingly visceral experience.
