PIPER PERABO (Violet Sanford) won the title role in "Coyote Ugly" after an extensive cross-country casting search. She most recently starred with Robert De Niro, Rene Russo and Jason Alexander in "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle," directed by Des McAnuff. Prior to that she appeared in Fox Searchlight’s feature "White Boys" written by writer/performer Danny Hoch.

A graduate of Ohio University, Perabo was born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey. She currently resides in New York.
