Plot: When you mix hot teenagers, a vicious murderer, and an abandoned pool, you get movie that is nearly irresistible. THE POOL is that movie, a frightening horror story that begins when 13 hopeful teenagers graduate from high school. Elated at the thought of their new lives in college and the real world, the youngsters find a way to bust into their city's abandoned public pool and throw a huge party. But one of them has an ulterior motive--a desire for revenge that turns out to be fatal.

 Decent slasher, but it was far too cliched and predictable for me. Killer looked alright and the deaths weren't too bad. Worth a rent for slasher fans. Don't expect much otherwise. 4/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
Turning out better than average despite a formulaic set-up and weak subplot involving a detective; this is actually a quite watchable time that's steadily directed and well enough paced to be pretty entertaining with a 'waterslide' moment that just rulesand an 'air vent' moment that has some decent mild thrills. ...
