Puppet Master Reviews |
While the psychic angle is a bit wonky and this low-budgeter is a little slow to get rolling it’s main drawing card (the puppets) certainly don’t disappoint. Director Schmoeller handles it all fine and the acting is okay on a B-movie level to make this amostly enjoyable debut by Full Moon that only promises more genre friendly fare. Classic puppet movie that spawned many sequels. Don't bother with the previous two in the series, but if you haven't seen this or the sequels I recommend you rent parts 1 to 5 and watch it with a bunch of friends. [read review] 6/10 --FrighT MasteR (UHM)
The film has a painfully slow pace, but the climax is OK. Producer/writer Charles Band was able to milk an entire franchise out of it. [read review] -- (eSplatter.com)
