Plot: Is· sues1 : matters that are in dispute between two or more parties - Merriam-Webster 2 : unresolved problems, situations, dealings, DRAMA - Ebonics Issues is a story about the complications and contradictions of relationships and the trials of life though the eyes of two young and hip cousins who are at crossroads in their lives. This anti-romantic comedy centers on Royce and Damien, who are housemates and exact opposites. Already dealing with their own problems, their lives become even more complicated when their friend and roommate Will takes a job in New York and replaces his spot with an unexpected guest, who only brings more confusion to the house. Without their knowledge or approval, Will has set them up with a young and beautiful aspiring actress/model from New York named Toni. Initially reluctant to take in a female cohabitant, Royce and Damien are eventually won over by Toni’s charm and beauty. Royce, the accountant, is an educated, conservative, and politically correct man, in a once promising relationship that has gone south due to his girlfriend’s newly found pseudo faith in religion.
