Genre: Thriller, Horror, Serial Killer, Haunted House, Murder, Slasher

Tagline: The brightest light hides your darkest fear

Plot: After escaping from the Hyperion, a hulking prison ship, Leo Rook (Adamson), the most notorious killer in all of Europe (stylishly decked out in all black, except for his white patten leather shoes), absconds to the desolate Gehenna Rocks--300 miles off the stormy coast of Northern England--and overtakes a lighthouse, killing all of its residents as they celebrate their last night of duty. Fiendishly, he lures the prison ship aground and then methodically hunts down and eviscerates the surviving crew and prisoners--taking their heads as trophies in an effort to satisfy his seemingly quenchless thirst for blood. One by one the shipwrecked disappear into the foggy night, victims of Rook's machete, until only two remain--Richard Spader, an epileptic convicted of murdering his wife (Purefoy), and Dr. Kirsty McCloud (Shelley), a brilliant criminal psychiatrist obsessed with deconstructing Rook's gruesome criminal career. Now the unlikely pair, trapped in the vertiginous lighthouse, must resolve their fear of heights as well as their mistrust for each other in order to team up and take the monstrous Rook down once and for all.
