British director NIGEL COLE makes his major feature film debut with Saving Grace. Co-founder and director of England's Playwright's Theatre Company, Cole began his career in theatre, presenting a season of plays at the Bristol Old Vic. He directed and co-wrote "Sod" with Arthur Smith in Edinburgh and later for the Perrier Pick of the Fringe Season at the Purcell Rooms, London in 1993.
Cole is also known in England for directing the acclaimed thirty-something television drama "Cold Feet." His other television credits include "London Calling" which won the Cable Ace Award for Best Music Programme; "The Return of the Magic Roundabout"; "Peak Practice" and "In The Wild," a series of documentaries following the wildlife experiences of such stars as Julia Roberts, Robin Williams and Richard Dreyfuss.
