Young Suhani has been buried in her books and her studies for so long that she has neglected her personal life. Everything changes in a heartbeat when she meets Aditya on a train, and love at first sight leads to marriage. Even through they don't have much, Suhani and Aditya are terribly happy for a while...until financial strain gets the best of them. They separate, but it's not long before they realize that they truly do need each other. This traditional love story is given vibrant musical treatment by Bollywood director Shaad Ali.
