In the year 1817 he meets young Mary Shelley, an aspiring author, and Dr. Victor Frankenstein, whose own experiment has gone haywire. Seeking to stop his Monster's reign of terror, Frankenstein sees the visitor's vast scientific knowledge as a way to further his own monstrous endeavors. Based on the fascinating novel by Brian Aldiss, FRANKENSTEIN UNBOUND marks Roger Corman's return to directing after an absence of twenty years.
