Plot: Renowned schlock director Ted V. Mikels (THE ASTRO-ZOMBIES) directed this campy, hilarious b-grade horror film that has become a cult favorite. In it, the unscrupulous owners of a cat food company buy human corpses, grind them up, and sell them as kitty chow. After the cats eat the unusual food, they are transformed into killer felines who begin attacking their human owners.

external linkFans of trashy drive-in cinema will delight at this amateurish but watchably 'so bad, it's good' fare from Ted V. Mikels. Morbid premise is given dopey execution with this totally inept cult classic that has a cast filled with mostly ugly non-actors and lots of bizarre attempts at humour to make it one lurid little shocker that entertains just because it's so darn off-beat. 1.5/4
