After a fairly suspenseful opening sequence it's all downhill from there with a senseless script which is just silly and cheesy enough for this to be watchable fare for those with a taste for garbage cinema. ... Probably director Cozzi's most enjoyable and best looking film production wise, which really isn't saying much. One laughable alien as well. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
Truly lame Italian imitation of the classic "Alien." ... The one saving grace of this film is the excellent score by Goblin. A must-see for hardened fans of Italian gore films of the 1980s that should definitely be avoided by everyone else.-- (eSplatter.com)
Finally, we can see every detail of the exploding stomachs which were this movie's gimmick and helped keep it in most gorehounds' hearts. -- (slasherama.com)

The story isn't very strong nor is the acting (dubbed that is). But the directing keeps the movie interesting with a few jumps here and there and many intense scenes that will stay with you for many days. --AnthroFred (SlasherPool)
