The film was certainly way ahead of its time. Well-made and well-acted, it almost stacks up as a classic, although it plays a little too much like a police drama toward the end of the film. Still, it's a must see.-- (eSplatter.com)
This movie wasn't bad. It was interesting and kept me guessing at times. It had a pretty decent story and an odd bunch of characters. The acting and directing was pretty good and so were the kills. ... A good rent if you're lookin' for an old slasher-type 6/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
Alice Sweet Alice is a slasher flick that deserves more cult status than it has. It's one of the best slashers from the late 70s -early 80s and if you still haven't seen this brilliant slasher flick, I highly recommend that you check it out as soon as you can. --AnthroFred (SlasherPool)
