Unnecessary remake (as are most) which takes out the best from the original and replaces it with effects and other unnecessary things. Caution for all fans of the original, I am not a fan of the original and still I was filled with rage after seeing how they tore the original to pieces. I advice you to avoid this and see the original Carrie instead but if you like newer movies I guess this is an all right movie. --AnthroFred (SlasherPool)
