Plot: When renowned chief medical examiner William Palmer (Hauer) turns his forensic experiences into a lurid best-selling novel, he reawakens the wrath of one killer even he couldn't catch. Now, the real-life surgical psychopath known as "Bone Daddy" is back in action, extracting the bones of his victims--while carefully keeping their bodies very much alive. Teamed with a streetwise, yet disagreeable, homicide detective (Williams), Palmer races to unravel a diabolical mystery where the people closest to him are his prime suspects, and the victims who die quickly...are the lucky ones.

Bone Daddy has some style, great theme music, and provides its killer with a nicely nasty way of murdering his/her victims, but it all boils down to the fact that this film is a rather generic whodunit. --Jack Witzig
