 This satisfactory sequel based on the Hans Holzer novel turns out way better than expected. It also has one cool finale. Up to its point of release this was the best of the series.  -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)

The movie lacking in many aspects -- there are barely any deaths and not a whole lot going on plot or action-wise. ... One of the lamer additions to the Amityville movies. No connection with the Amityville home or any of the previous films. Don't bother. 4/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
