THE MALLOYS (Directed by) make their motion picture directing debut with "Out Cold," following a successful career as music video directors/producers with their video production company, Propaganda. They attracted industry attention and kudos for the visual style, humor and storytelling expertise displayed in recent videos for Blink 182, Foo Fighters, Lit, and MXPX, and also produced and edited three recent Limp Bizkit videos.
Amongst their documentaries, Brendan and Emmett Malloy have made two surf- documentaries, "Thicker Than Water" and "The September Sessions."
For five years, the Malloys worked at New Wave Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based movie marketing firm, where they wrote for and edited numerous promotional campaigns. Emmett's credits at the company included work on campaigns for "Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace," "The Beach," "The Thin Red Line" and "Ever After." As head writer at New Wave, Brendan worked on "Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace," "The Truman Show," "South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut," "Bowfinger" and "There's Something About Mary." Separately, Brendan has also written for several national television commercial campaigns.
