Plot: BOLLYWOOD QUEEN attempts to transpose the musical drama genre popular in the Indian film industry to working class London. Geena (Preeya Kalidas) is a nineteen year-old woman of Indian descent living in the East End. Her parents have arranged for her to marry a young Indian man. She already has a secret that she keeps from her parents--an R&B vocal group she has formed with two friends. But when Jay (James McAvoy), a white Londoner, saves her from injury on the street, it's love at first sight, and suddenly she has another secret to keep from her family.
