DAVID ARQUETTE reprising his role as former Deputy Dewey Riley in SCREAM 3, continues to anchor the story. "He's the guy everyone falls back on. The only difference is now he's a little more cynical and less naive, " says Arquette.
Arquette, who starred in both SCREAM and SCREAM 2, was last seen opposite Drew Barrymore in the big-screen comedy "Never Been Kissed," and stars in the upcoming comedy "Ready To Rumble" for director Brian Robbins. He has completed the romantic comedy "The Shrink Is In" opposite his wife Courteney Cox Arquette. Future projects include the title role "Honky!" for director Stephen Leeds.
In five consecutive years Arquette acted in and produced five independent films that competed at the Sundance Film Festival. He co-produced and starred in "Dream with the Fishes" and "Johns," which competed at Sundance '97. At Sundance '98 he starred opposite Stanley Tucci and Kate Capshaw in "The Alarmist."
Arquette also leads the band Ear 2000, who's single "The Race" is on the SCREAM 2 soundtrack which certified gold. Ear 2000's next single, "Click Click" is on the SCREAM 3 soundtrack.
