Orlando Jones in Evolution (2001)

ORLANDO JONES (Harry) most recently starred with Sally Field, Heather Graham and Chris Klein in the comedy “Say It Isn’t So,” produced by the Farrelly brothers. Earlier this year, he also starred with Eddie Griffin in the comedy “Double Take.” He had previously earned praise for his work in the football comedy “The Replacements,” with Keanu Reeves and Gene Hackman, and in Harold Ramis’ comedy “Bedazzled,” starring Brendan Fraser and Elizabeth Hurley.

Jones’ other film credits include Barry Levinson’s “Liberty Heights,” Mike Judge’s “Office Space” and Larry David’s “Sour Grapes.”

Born in Mobile, Alabama and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Jones began his Hollywood career as a writer for the NBC sitcom “A Different World.” He then went to Fox Television to write for “Roc Live,” starring Charles S. Dutton, and the next year became a producer for Fox’s half-hour sitcom “The Sinbad Show,” starring popular comedian Sinbad. After four years as a writer and producer, Jones moved in front of the camera when he joined the cast of Fox’s sketch comedy show, “Mad TV.” Following a two-season stint on the show, he made his feature film debut in “Sour Grapes.”

In addition to his acting, Jones continues to write and produce. He is currently developing three feature film projects at three different studios, which he will write, produce and star in, entitled “The Reverend Pimp Daddy,” “Sticky Fingers” and “Redneck.” Television audiences also recognize him as the new spokesman for 7-UP.
