Plot: Clear Rivers (Ali Larter), the only survivor of the crash of Flight 180 left alive, is locked away by her own choice in the perceived safety of a psychiatric hospital. Clear now lives in constant terror that Death is coming to claim her, as it did all her friends.Clear may be considered crazy, but she's not wrong. Death is moving toward suburban Route 23, heading south. En route to a weekend getaway with her friends, Kimberly Corman (A.J. Cook) watches helplessly as a logging truck careens out of control and loses its deadly payload, setting off a horrifying chain reaction that leaves twisted metal and dead bodies in its wake – including her own. A moment later, Kimberly finds herself still stuck in on-ramp traffic, with a line of commuters she saw die moments before trailing behind her. It was only a vision. But was it also a warning? Shocked into action, Kimberly blocks the cars from joining the traffic on Route 23 as a young police trooper (Michael Landes) arrives on the scene. The commuters begin to honk and complain …until Kimberly’s premonition comes powerfully and tragically to life before their eyes. Death tears up the highway in a massive pile-up, with those left on the onramp narrowly escaping with their lives. But Kimberly knows it’s not over. Death won't be

You can't outrun death, but you can still hide from this teeny-bop horror flick.--Andrew O'Hehir (Salon)
...takes a good idea from the first film and pounds it into the ground, not to mention decapitating, electrocuting, skewering, blowing up, incinerating, drowning and gassing it. Perhaps movies are like history, and repeat themselves, first as tragedy, then as farce. --Roger Ebert (Chicago Sun-Times)
While Final Destination 2 lacks some of the really terrifying deaths from the original, the flick does rebound a little bit with some pretty impressive-in-a-shock-standpoint moments. C+--Lee Tistaert (Lee's Movie Info)
If nothing else, Final Destination 2 will be remembered for one of the most impressive and intense car crash pile-ups ever presented on film. 7/10--Nate Anderson (Movie-Vault.com)
Still, there's no denying that Final Destination 2 is one of the most purely enjoyable films out there right now. It's not trying to do anything except entertain, which is reason enough to check it out. --David Nusair (Reel Film Reviews)
For a horror movie which isn't meant to be much more then a quick and fun roller coaster ride, Final Destination takes you back to what these types of horror movies should really be. If you're a horror fan that is sick of the glitzed out Hollywood... --Brian Balchack (MovieWeb)
...the characters are sketched well enough to hold the attention, without ever troubling the heart --Nev Pierce (BBC Films)
A surprisingly potent follow-up to the sleeper original hit, this film takes the basic elements from its predecessor, multiplies it with some of the most gruesome kills ever put to screen, a couple of small twists, more premonition gobbledygook, a handful of memorable sequences and wraps it all up with a tiny wink of the eye. 7/10--'JoBlo' (JoBlo.com)
Satisfying sequel, even if it lacks the originality of its predecessor – a good-looking cast, a tongue in cheek script and some inventive death sequences make this worth watching. --Matthew Turner (ViewLondon)
These are funhouse thrills from a director who bears watching. You'll gasp, you'll flinch, you'll cringe, but mostly you'll scream. In a humorous way, of course.--C.W. Nevius (San Francisco Chronicle)
While this follow-up isn't bad, it's nowhere near the original in story and entertainment. While the gore effects are pretty rockin' the plot is ridiculous with poor logic and a predictable set-up for yet another sequel. ... Competently made and bearablebut too sloppily written and feeling too much of a rehash to be anything but disappointing. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)

Throwing political correctness to the dogs, the sequel serves up one of the goriest mainstream Hollywood films in years, complete with bad dialogue, a ridiculous plot and terrible acting.-- (eSplatter.com)
Final Destination 2 is a great example of how the director takes anvantage of the audience. Knowing that we are expecting something to happen, we are constantly toyed with. --Mr Disgusting (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
If you're a fan of the original then you'll probably enjoy this sequel. I know I did. Check this out. 8/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
Surprisingly good sequel with many twists and plot turns. It's been a long time since I saw a movie with this amount of gore in it aswell... --AnthroFred (SlasherPool)
