Plot: Real life husband and wife tandem Jane Seymour and James Keach star as the heads of the Robinson family in this update of the classic novel. Sailing from Singapore to Sydney, the family is attacked by pirates and left stranded on a desert island. As they learn to survive in their new environment, the family bands together to plot their escape, since the pirates try to make sure that the Robinsons cannot leave. However, with the help of some animal friends, the Robinsons attempt to outwit the unsuspecting pirates.
