Plot: Director Schisgall spent three years getting to know the subjects of this documentary, which takes an unabashed look into the lives of middle-aged and senior swingers in Orange County, California and Littleton, Colorado. The participants host parties which other couples attend, bring a covered dish, eat picnic-style, then doff their garments for hot sex--both one-on-one, and in other numbers. Amongst the rules of the house: no sexual contact between males, "no" means "no," and married or committed couples only. The couples are shown preparing for parties by waterproofing the beds, laying mats down on floors, and making large quantities of food. Interviews throughout the film are also conducted at "Lifestyles '97," a convention where like-minded couples converge to meet and shop for marital aids. Amongst the people interviewed are "Wild" Bill Goodwin, 72 years-old, who speaks lovingly of his deceased wife, explaining that he is sure she would want him to continue to have fun. Orin is in his 60's and his wife designs erotic greeting cards. He believes that after spending his life raising children and working hard, he has earned his right "to party." John and Gina are the exception, a much younger couple who tried swinging but found it was destructive to their relationship. After
