Plenty of fake-looking gore is overshadowed by sketchy scripting, groanable dialogue and an outright badness that makes the original look like a horror classic. Doesn't help to have a heroine in Fields who when not wearing platform shoes is only in the film to describe the plot to us dumb viewers. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
While not perfect, I respect this movie for keeping the good times rolling with Divoff because we won't see him as the Djinn for a while, that's my bet anyway. --Steve Van Kooten (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
