Tired of their role as Mafia peons, best buddies Harry Valentini and Moe Dickstein cook up a scheme to secure enough money to open a Jewish-Italian deli together. Sent to the racetrack to place a bet for their employer, Harry and Moe attempt to cheat him out of his winnings and end up owing him $250,000 instead.
