Determined to win back her husband, Freddy (Craig T. Nelson), outrageously wealthy Beverly Hills housewife Phyllis Nefler (Shelley Long) becomes the leader of her daughter's Wilderness Girls troop.Though she's more accustomed to Gucci bags than sleeping bags, Phyllis is determined to show Freddy that she is the same energetic and resourceful woman that he fell in love with...but she never realized that proving her devotion would require her to touch dirt and bugs! This outlandish comedy also features cameos by the likes of Robin Leach, Pia Zadora, Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello, Dr. Joyce Brothers, and Cheech Marin.

Shelley Long stars as a spoiled Beverly Hills resident who does nothing but shop, prompting her husband to tell her he's fed up with her selfishness. To prove him wrong, she assumes leadership of Troop Beverly Hills in the Girl Scout-like Wilderness Girls organization. Troop Beverly Hills is made up of brats who are the laughingstock of the scouting community.
