The sophomore effort for Huang, writer and director of "Swimming With Sharks." Over the course of an evening, a plucky teen (youth popster and "Party of Five" star Hewitt) schemes to distract her cute but oblivious platonic friend (Friedle, of TV's "Boy Meets World") from his "dream girl," a vampy blonde. But his attention seems to be riveted on his struggle to procure a prophylactic for use before the night's end. Look for fun bits from Majors and erstwhile teen-film hero Hall (as a psychotic city bus driver).
