Bored with life in her small Texas town, the rebellious 17-year-old Mandy leaves home and gets on a bus headed for Corpus Christi. Along the way, she meets Rick Davis, a reckless but totally irresistible young cowboy. This young charmer proves to be quite a handful, however -- and after Rick introduces her to his "Uncle" Pal during a stopover, Mandy finds herself caught up in a bungled bank robbery. Soon, she and her new boyfriend are on the lam with $5000 in stolen cash... and with a furious Pal hot on their trail.
