Plot: Slim (Jennifer Lopez), a hard-working woman thought she met the perfect man in Mitch (Billy Campbell), a charming, wealthy contractor. They start an idyllic life together in the suburbs, but after the birth of their daughter Grace, Slim discovers that Mitch has another side– a controlling and dark alter ego who turns trust, love and domestic tranquility into terror and menace. Terrified for her daughter, Slim tries to escape the marriage, but Mitch relentlessly pursues her. She changes her name, her appearance, her very identity, and goes into hiding, only to be hunted again. No one can help her, not her friends and not even the police. But Slim has had enough of fear and running.
