Tagline: Six soldiers. Full moon. No chance.
Plot: A squad of British soldiers is sent out on maneuvers into the wilds of Scotland. They thought the worst they had to worry about was missing the biggest football match of the decade, but what should have been a routine military exercise turns into a nightmare for Sergeant Harry Wells (Sean Pertwee) and Riflemen Lawrence Cooper (Kevin Mckidd), Joe Kirkley (Chris Robson), Terry Milburn (Leslie Simpson), Phil Witherspoon (Darren Morfitt) and Corporal Bruce Campbell (Thomas Lockyer).ething's out there ... and it's hungry. Very hungry. And hairy ... very hairy. Stumbling into the encampment of Captain Richard Ryan (Liam Cunningham), on a mysterious Top Secret mission for the Special Operations Division, the squad finds him mortally injured and his crack unit torn to shreds. Stunned by the blood-soaked aftermath and unable to get any sense from Ryan, the shocked men are led by local girl Megan (Emma Bleasby) to a deserted farmhouse deep in the forest for refuge. Inside, the table is set for dinner and something meaty is bubbling on the stove, but no one is home. Strange noises outside grow closer and closer -- a strangely hairy family is coming home and they're hungry. With no radio contact, no live ammunition and only each other to rely on, the soldiers must rely on brute force

It'll never win any awards, but Dog Soldiers is one of the better horror comedies to hit video store shelves in a while. --David Nusair (Reel Film Reviews)
Ripping the conventions of the werewolf genre to shreds, "Dog Soldiers" trades shock horror for gross out humour and the result - full of bloody entrails, jokes about Little Red Riding Hood and references to classic genre movies like "Wolfen" - is a rip-roaring comedy action fest that'll put hairs on your chest. --Jamie Russell (BBC Films)
British ‘Soldiers vs Werewolves’ movie that is both extremely gory and frequently very funny – if you liked last year’s Ginger Snaps, this is the movie for you. --Matthew Turner (ViewLondon)
Starting with a fairly intense opening attack and with some alright mood this is certainly a competently directed time with some moments of mild humour but it suffers from not being overly interesting in the plot department and having so-so looking werewolves. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
...it's simply a well-acted, at times gripping, occasionally funny siege movie that steams right along. 63/100--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)
A brilliant, amazing, fun-as-fucking-hell action-horror film from Britain, "Dog Soldiers" may even be a better werewolf film than "Ginger Snaps." ... is definitely going to be a classic.-- (eSplatter.com)
These aren't your usual smash, growl and drool wolf dudes as seen in past movies. These guys are smart. Smart enough to take out car engines, electrical generators and attack the house from multiple angles, testing the defenses for weaknesses. --Bry McFly (Bloody-Disgusting.com)

This is a good film if you are into horror's and love your werewolf sub-genre. This is defiantly not a cross over film that will interest anybody other than fans of this type of adrenalin fueled mayhem. 7/10--Vaughan Dyche (thefilmasylum.com)
Horror and humour mix surprisingly well, as gore and expletives fly in equal measures.-- (slasherama.com)
I'm not huge on werewolf movies but I admit that this was one of the better ones out there, along with Ginger Snaps. I just hope that this doesn't start a new wave of werewolf movies like Scream did for slashers or Blair Witch did for crap. I think everyone should give this a try, well, everyone who do enjoy the occasional werewolf movie anyway, but it simply wasn't my kind of movie. --AnthroFred (SlasherPool)
