Monday, 2.Nov 2009 -
The rights to the "Terminator" franchise will be auctioned off later this month according to The Financial Times.
Several buyers have expressed interest in the film rights including all the big film studios with Sony Pictures a leading contender.
Summit Entertainment and Media Rights Capital are also said to be tracking the sale by Halycon.
The auction does NOT cover earlier Terminator films, only giving the buyer rights to make new films, TV series and other spin-offs.
