Plot: As Courtney's 30th birthday nears, she takes stock of her life, and her best friend Nick is right there to capture her misgivings in a personal documentary. But while filming Courtney, Nick gradually begins to realize that he's falling in love with her. Clever use of the "mockumentary" framing device--and choice bit parts from such established comedians as Ryan Stiles and "Saturday Night Live" alumnae Julia Sweeney and Ana Gasteyer--lift this simple indie effort above the standard romantic comedy fare.
