GRANT HESLOV (Arpid) adds The Scorpion King to an array of starring roles in films such as True Lies, Congo, The Birdcage and Dante'sPeak. He has also created memorable characters in Enemy of the State, Black Sheep and Catch Me If You Can (directed by Stephen Sommers). On television, Heslov was last seen being devoured by rats on The X-Files, and in recent guest roles on CSI, Outer Limits and Yes, Dear. He was also part of the cast of the live television production of Fail Safe, produced by George Clooney and directed by Stephen Frears.
Heslov starred in and directed the critically acclaimed short film Waiting for Woody, and also directed the recently completed feature film Par 6. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, film producer Lysa Hayland-Heslov, and daughter.
