 Synopses for Blood Red (1989)
1.A stellar cast boosts this old-fashioned yarn about a family feud that starts a bitter land dispute.

Sicilian-born Sebastian Collegero rules over his clan in Northern California circa 1890. There, the proud man owns and tends to a bountiful vineyard. Everyone in his family contributes to its success.

A feisty railroad bigwig, Berrigan, then declares that he wants Sebastian's grape farm to lay down more train tracks. But the patriarch will not budge; he has given his life to create his business and intends to leave it to his sons. Berrigan, in turn, hires thugs to make Sebastian comply.

Instead of a quick, decisive fight, a bloody range war commences -- a conflict that may yield no victor.
