Synopses for Rugrats in Paris: The Movie - Rugrats II (2000)
1.Based on the popular TV series RUGRATS, this animated film, RUGRATS IN PARIS: THE MOVIE, features a group of zany toddlers who, by chance, get to travel to Paris. The film takes a playful path through the uncomplicated plotline, beginning with a perfectly choreographed spoof on THE GODFATHER (replete with a sawed-off toy horse head), then launching into a series of upbeat songs narrating the story in styles ranging from rock and reggae to jazz and R&B. The story follows little Chuckie, who wants his single father to remarry so he can get a new mommy. Teased by his bossy friend Angela, Chuckie feels even worse about his situation. But when the father of his pal Tommy gets assigned to go to Paris on business, taking the whole Rugrats gang with him, things begin to change. From the bateaux mouches to the Arc de Triomphe, the Rugrats enjoy some valuable sightseeing, then descend upon Euroreptarland, a theme park located in the center of Paris. Along the way, Chuckie thinks up a perfect scheme for getting a new mom. With fun music and fast-moving graphics balancing out the obligatory jokes about diapers, babies' butts, and poop, RUGRATS IN PARIS: THE MOVIE will thrill fans of these wild toddlers.

2.All Chuckie wants is a new mommy. But he barely has time to wish for one when Tommy's daddy, Stu, gets sent to Paris to repair a broken robot in EUROREPTARLAND--and bring the whole Rugrats bunch along. With Paris and the babies and their new French friends set out on a quest to make Chuckie's wish come true.

Soon our pint-sized heroes are smack in the middle of their biggest adventure yet and a rollicking race against time!

3.The Full-Length Hit Movie

Hold on to your berets -- the Rugrats kids are headed for Paris in an all-new feature-length adventure. France doesn't stand a chance!

When Stu Pickles is summoned to work at EuroReptarland, Paris' newest amusement park, the Rugrats kids tag along. From the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame, no attraction is safe from the Rugrats kids who find that fun is the same in any language. Meanwhile, love is in the air for Chuckie's dad, Chas. Could Chuckie be getting a new mom? The Rugrats kids learn valuable lessons in courage, loyalty and true love in this music-filled journey featuring the hit song, "Who Let The Dogs Out?", and the voice talents of Susan Sarandon and John Lithgow.

Rugrats In Paris is sure to warm your heart as it tickles your funny bone!

4.The second theatrical film from the popular television show, Rugrats in Paris is better than the original surprise hit, The Rugrats Movie. Instead of delving into their rich fantasy life, the Rugrats gang goes on a real adventure when their families visit Paris together. Mr Pickles is brought over to fix his giant Reptar robot, the centerpiece of EuroReptarland (a biting version of the trouble-plagued EuroDisney). The underlying story has Chuckie (the one with the square glasses) looking for a new mummy, as his dad (who has a square personality) starts to fall for a villainous executive (voiced by Susan Sarandon). Soon Paris takes it on the chin as the diaper gang tries to save Chuckie's dad from the altar. The success of the Rugrats is in the writing, where much thought goes into finding comic gems for the adults (there are wonderful parodies of The Godfather and King Kong that will sail over kids' heads). The garble-mouthed youngsters keep up their joyful ways in this 78-minute feature that feels no different from their Nickelodeon series except in length, some 3-D animation sequences, and an eclectic song score (with Cyndi Lauper's "I Want a Mom That Will Last Forever" the real catch).
