Tagline: A Reign Of HORROR... a man-made monster on the loose!
Plot: When a professor gets seriously hurt in a car crash with a gangster, a surgeon (Boris Karloff) makes a risky, desperate decision: he saves his friend's life by transferring the brain of a dying gangster into the professor's body. But the surgeon's original good intentions fade when he learns that, embedded in the criminal's brain, is information regarding a hidden fortune. Determined to get the money, the doctor manipulates his patient into temporarily assuming the gangster's personality, and the criminal mind takes over seeking revenge on a rival gangster (Lugosi). Neat mystery tale with horror overtones added by presence of monster-movie stars.
