Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong bring their marijuana-fueled comedy act to the screen for a third feature film effort. In this adventure, the boys find themselves in possession of a large quantity of fine quality green stuff and decide to make some dope-infused ice cream and sell it from a truck. Their illegal, but successful, business venture introduces them to a wide range of freaks and wackos, including a coke-snorting mental patient (Paul "Pee Wee" Reubens) and Cheech's long-lost love (Evelyn Guerrero), who is now dating an ex-con. Look for appearances by Sandra Berhard and Timothy Leary.

Nice Dreams, it rhymes with ice creams. And that's what Cheech and Chong are selling in this throughly whacky comedy. The outrageous, permanently spaced-out duo sells enough of their "specially mixed" ice cream to take the cash and realize their fondest dreams: new guitars, islands in the sun and beautiful women.
