CHRIS KOCH (Director) makes his feature film direct anal debut with "Snow Day."
For television, Koch's credits include numerous episodes of the highly successful Nickelodeon series "The Adventures of Pete & Pete" and "KABLAM!," as well as "Ted the Head," a series of short films also for Nickelodeon. As a director of commercials and promos, he has gained a reputation as one of the hottest young talents working in the field today.
In 1992, Koch, with executive producer David Kerwin, created the production company KONK Inc. Through KONK, he has written and direct ed promos, short films and specials for cable clients including Nickelodeon, MTV, ESPN, Showtime, HBO, Comedy Central, ESPN2, Hanna Barbera, VH1, Paramount, NBC, Nick at Nite's TV Land, USA Network and Turner Broadcasting. Other notable KONK projects include "60 Second Sitcoms," a series of one minute shows in the styles of the '50s, '60s and '70s for TV Land which was recently inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records for "world's shortest show," and "Brady: An American Chronicle," a Ken Burns-style, mock documentary on the cultural impact of "The Brady Bunch."
Previous to forming KONK, Koch enjoyed a stint as a producer for J. Walter Thompson in New York, and worked as a producer/director for Fred/Alan Inc. where he created the "Tonight Show" opening and bumpers for Jay Lena's first season.
A native of Syracuse, New York, Koch attended Boston University Film School where he was the recipient of the Sumner Redstone Viacom Award.
