Plot: In Sidney Lumet's jarring thriller, THE MORNING AFTER, Jane Fonda plays an alcoholic who wakes up one morning after a hard night of drinking and finds a man lying next to her who has been stabbed to death. Fearful that she is the one who committed the murder, she flees. Later, she finds a friend in an ex-cop (Jeff Bridges) who helps her solve the mystery.
