Overall, the film has a good premise and a lot of potential, but the script here lacks where the original was strong...in the characters. What's really dissapointing is the fact that both Jeepers Creepers and Jeepers Creepers 2 were written and directed by the same guy. What a shame. 4/10--Nate Anderson (Movie-Vault.com)
A movie that any film student will surely want to watch. Not because it is good in any possible way, but because it is a perfect example of what not to do when making a movie. --Brian Gallagher (MovieWeb)
Bloody, brutal and unpleasant, Victor Salva's skilful sequel to his superior creature feature lacks the chills of the original, but ramps up the action. --Nev Pierce (BBC Films)
The original wasn’t exactly David Mamet, but it seems that way in comparison with this all-screams-no-talk monster movie retread. 56/100--Brian Webster (Apollo Guide)
If you enjoy plain ol' "attack and kill" flicks with little more on the mind than slapping a handful of characters into a dire situation with a man/bat/beast on their tail, you will likely enjoy this flick as fluffily as I did. 6/10--'JoBlo' (JoBlo.com)
A dumb sequel to a dumb original, Jeepers Creepers 2 thinks it’s a lot scarier than it actually is. --Matthew Turner (ViewLondon)
The Creeper eats schoolkids from a bus like so many beans from a can, and the result is a film that has some tasty moments, but leaves a bad smell in the end. 4/10--Gary Panton (Movie Gazette)
With more characters and money behind it, JC2 starts out and ends with a focus on action lightly infused with a nice creepiness. Victor has proven quite skilled at creating atmosphere and it works at times, sadly though there's nowhere near as many scares this time around - but visually its more interesting and there's definitely a much better pace. --Garth Franklin (DarkHorizons)
It doesn’t have any self reference humor, it doesn’t want to be something more than it is, it isn’t ambitious in any way. It’s just a solid monster movie that’s easy to get into and entertaining to watch if you leave your brain at the door.--Sonny Fernandez (Diabolical-Dominion.com)

Not as good as the first, but still entertaining none-the-less. Sadly no background info for the Creeper is revealed and the sister from the first doesn't make an appearance. Check this movie if you liked the first, but don't expect much. 7/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
With an ending that's infinitely more satisfying than the last movie's and better special effects, Part 2 seems like a better package, although the character development isn't exactly there. All in all, though, this is an impressive second entry, and proof perfect that Salva may become a legendary horror film director.-- (eSplatter.com)
I'm sad to say the second film has none of the original's ingenuity and about as much tension as pudding (vanilla). --Lyle Henretty (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
