Plot: PERFECT STRANGERS is a striking feature from New Zealand director Gaylene Preston (BREAD & ROSES, WAR STORIES). One night, bored thirty-something Melanie goes out drinking with her friends. After getting sufficiently intoxicated, she goes home with a charming man (Sam Neill). When she wakes up, she's on a boat at sea, alone with the mysterious figure, trying to figure out if she's going to live through the day. Stylish and haunting, PERFECT STRANGERS deftly blends many different genres to tell a truly original tale.
