DAN HEDAYA (Mike "The Brick" Donatelli) received critical acclaim for his performance in the title role of the Watergate-era Presidential comedy, "Dick" opposite Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams. He also appeared opposite Denzel Washington in the Academy Award®-nominated film "The Hurricane." Among his nearly 40 feature film credits are "A Civil Action," "The First Wives Club," "Clueless," "The Usual Suspects," "To Die For," "Marvin's Room," "Se arching for Bobby Fischer," "Blood Simple," "Benny and Joon" and "The Addams Family."
Mr. Hedaya starred as Nick Tortelli, Carla's ex-husband on the television series "Cheers," and in the spin-off series "The Tortellis." He received an Emmy Award nomination for his performance on "NYPD Blue" and has appeared on "Law & Order," "ER," "Homicide: Life on the Street," "Family Ties,"
"L.A. Law," "Hill Street Blues," "St. Elsewhere," "Miami Vice" and many other television series as well as the made-for-television movies "Locked in Silence," "B etrayal of Trust," "Mother Courage," "Fallen Angels" and others.
Hedaya starred on stage opposite Al Pacino in "The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel." He has appeared in "Henry V," "Museum" and "Last Days of British Honduras" at the New York Shakespeare Festival, and "Hamlet" at Lincoln Center and Ensemble Studio Theatre. Among his other stage appearances are "Luv," "Gold en Boy," "Conjuring an Event" and "Awake and Sing."
