ALEC BALDWIN (Joe Devine) has received wide acclaim and an ardent following for his roles in innumerable motion pictures, television programs, and stage productions. In feature films he starred in “The Cooler,” “Pearl Harbor,” “State and Main,” “Notting Hill,” “Mercury Rising,” “Ghosts of Mississippi,” “The Juror,” “The Shadow,” “Malice,” “Glengarry Glen Ross,” “Alice,” “The Hunt for Red October,” “Talk Radio,” “Working Girl,” and “Beetle Juice,” to name only a few of his most memorable titles. He will soon be seen in “Playmakers of New Orleans,” “The Aviator,” “Elizabethtown,” and “Lymelife.”

Mr. Baldwin began his long career as an actor starring on the daytime television drama “The Doctors.” His subsequent television credits include “Knots Landing,” “The Confession” (for which he won the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Adapted Screenplay), the TNT miniseries “Nuremburg: Infamy on Trial” (which he also produced), and the HBO Films production “Path to War,” in which he starred as Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara in the Lyndon Johnson presidential administration, and for which he received an Emmy Award® nomination. He will soon be seen in the TNT cable movie “Second Nature.”

Among Baldwin’s stage credits is his acclaimed role in the Broadway production of Tennessee Williams’ “A Streetcar Named Desire,” as well as in Joe Orton’s “Loot,” and Caryl Churchill’s “Serious Money.” Off-Broadway he appeared in a production of “Macbeth,” “Prelude to a Kiss,” and David Mamet’s “Life in the Theatre.” He is a board member of the New York Shakespeare Festival, and serves on the board of Long Island’s Bay Street Theatre.

Alec Baldwin is a native of Massapequa, Long Island. He is a graduate of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts (BFA). He also studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute under Elaine Aiken, and also studied with Mira Rostova.
