Plot: LIQUID BRIDGE is the boy version of BLUE CRUSH. The coming-of-age plot is secondary to the intense surfing action, which exudes the glory, beauty, and dangers of a life spent chasing waves. Nick is a mechanic who dreams of surfing stardom. His father, now confined to a wheelchair after a surfing accident, is over protective and controlling. In an attempt to claim his independence, Nick unwittingly teams up with a corrupt drug smuggler who poses as a surfing manager. LIQUID BRIDGE also stars professional surfer Jarrod Dean as Nick's supportive ally.
