Plot: A group of young filmmakers, making a low-budget horror movie in an abandoned hospital, stumble upon a dead body and decide to use it in their film. To their dismay, this releases dozens of spiteful zombies from the netherworld, who trap the youngsters in the hospital with little chance of escape. Mixing tongue-in-chewed-off-cheek humor with gory effects, Parker and crew serve up a fun homage to such classic living dead movies as Romero's DAWN OF THE DEAD and Fulci's THE BEYOND.

 External Reviews
external linkIt's surely flawed but it tries pretty hard and it could've worked if they'd put more gusto into the zombie attacks and concentrated on more zombie mayhem than jokey talking. Dig that computer generated fire... 2/4

external linkI credit the writer and director with allowing a good amount of time for character buildup, but the movie's plot is sunk by a few huge plot holes, most notably the question of why and how the dead just went away after being summoned in the prologue. 42/100
