Plot: Like most small-time compulsive gamblers, cabbie Jay Trotter tends to lose whenever he bets. But that all changes when he puts his stakes on a horse and wins, marking the beginning of a streak that nets him thousands of dollars. In the process, Jay moves up from the beer-swigging set to the caviar crowd.

Meanwhile, Jay's constant gambling is costing him his marriage. Will Jay and his wife reconcile? And what will happen to him when Lady Luck deserts him again?
