SHAUN FLEMING (Leonard) continues to prove that youth is not wasted on the young. The budding star is making significant strides before the camera and behind the microphone, the latter most notably as the voice of Leonard in “Disney’s Teacher’s Pet” and as the title character’s twin brothers in the Disney Channel hit series, “Disney’s Kim Possible.”
“The scripts make playing Leonard a lot of fun, especially between all of his weird phrases and these hilarious moments when his weak inner-self and mean inner-self argue,” Fleming says. “And the show is very easy for kids to relate to – maybe not in having a talking dog, but I think kids will see things in this show that they go through and get to see everything from a different perspective. That might help them understand how their actions affect others.”
Fleming began his career at the tender age of 6 in the live-action series, “Cyberkidz,” one of the hottest items in today’s booming online programming (the show can be seen via GalaxyEntertainment.com)
His feature film career hit full stride with the lead role in “Splittsville,” while his fairly extensive voiceover palette spans the gamut of film, television and commercial performances. Beyond his co-lead status on “Disney’s Teacher’s Pet,” Fleming has supplied the voice of Simba in the Disney Animal Kingdom’s presentation of “The Lion King”; the voice of Goofy’s son, Max, in the hit Disney Video Premiere, “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas”; and in the upcoming video sequel, “Disney’s the Hunchback of Notre Dame II.”
Fleming also boasts strong vocal chords for song. A talented opera singer, he supplied the singing voice – for Oscar®-nominee Haley Joel Osment – on the renowned catalogue of “Disney’s Discover Spot” children’s home videos.
